Jakarta Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' Tjahaja Purnama assessed Transjakarta operations within the latest year is failed to compete with city bus. As planned whole management of Transjakarta will be replaced in the near future.

"I'm going to replace whole management of Transjakarta. Honestly, within a year for me Transjakarta has been totally failed to become a rival of city bus," expressed Ahok at City Hall, Monday (12/7).

According to him, the purpose of Transjakarta to be incorporated company (PT) is for competing openly.

"What we want is the company to be a rival. Transjakarta can owe to Bank. The company can pay leasing," he told.

He claimed some bus companies have been willing to produce Transjakarta buses. Even in a day they are ready to produce one unit. "We can also change, outer-city buses can be joined to be feeder temporarily," he explained.
